Responsibilities

In 2006 Jeff Post became Owner and Broker at First Colorado Land Office. The company’s current location on US 50 opened in 2007 and Jeff subsequently purchased a downtown office in 2009. First Colorado Land Office has ranked at the top of the stats for the local area and Jeff continues to maintain his top producing status as a commercial real estate broker in Chaffee County.

Professional Background

Upon obtaining his Realtor license, Jeff became a Broker Associate for First Colorado Land Office. During that time he achieved several awards, including Chaffee County Board of Realtors Rookie of the Year in 2001, First Colorado Land Office Salesman of the Year in 2001, 2003, 2004 and 2005, the Individual Company Sales Record in 2005, Chaffee County Realtor of the Year in 2008, Chamber of Commerce Man of the Year in 2009, Salida’s Man of the Year in 2010, and Salida’s Best Realtor from 2013 to 2016.

Jeff Post holds GRI and CDPE designations.

Memberships & Affiliations

Jeff served on and is past President of the Chaffee County Board of Realtors, and is Past President of the Salida Chamber of Commerce. In 2010 he became a founding member and Chair of the Chaffee County Economic Development Corporation and is currently a Board Member of the Realtors of Central Colorado.

He is also a member of the National Association of Realtors, Colorado Association of Realtors, Chaffee County Board of Realtors, and Rocky Mountain Commercial Brokers.

Education

Jeff Post earned his BS Degree in Business from the University of Wyoming.

Personal

Jeff Post and his wife Katy have family in the area as well as two sixth-generation daughters. As residents and parents of Salida, they both care deeply about the quality of life in Salida and Chaffee County. Jeff enjoys fishing, golf and many of Chaffee County’s recreational opportunities.
