As owner and broker at Porter Realty ERA Powered, Preston Porter oversees residential and commercial real estate broker services, tenant representation, commercial real estate investments and real estate consulting services.

Rather than operating as a traditional solo agent, Preston focuses on leadership, deal strategy and developing systems that allow agents to perform at a high level. His approach is centred on creating consistency, strong execution and long-term growth for both clients and agents.

Under his leadership, Porter Realty ERA Powered continues to evolve from a long-standing family business into a scalable, forward-thinking brokerage. Preston is actively involved in regional economic development and previously served as President of the local Realtors association.

Memberships & Affiliations

Preston Porter is a member of the Alamosa County Economic Development Corporation and Past President of the local Board of Realtors. He is also a member of the Realtors Land Institute, and holds Certified Negotiation Expert and Accredited Land Consultant designations.

Education

He earned his business degree with honours from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, where he began his real estate career.

Personal

Preston Porter and his wife Katie, also a Valley native, make Alamosa their home. They enjoy travelling, Colorado Rockies baseball, the Denver Broncos, golfing, hunting, fishing and camping.
