RMCRE Q4 Board Meeting in Durango: Golf, Building Tours, and Strategic Discussions

The Rocky Mountain Commercial Real Estate (RMCRE) group wrapped up its Q4 board meeting on October 10, 2025, in beautiful Durango, Colorado. Hosted with the stunning backdrop of the San Juan Mountains, the event combined productive strategy sessions with memorable team-building activities. Members gathered to review finances, membership growth, and marketing initiatives while strengthening bonds through golf, a property tour, and a home-cooked feast.
Golf Outing at the Glacier Club
Kicking off the festivities, RMCRE partners hit the links at the prestigious Glacier Club. Surrounded by pine forests and rolling fairways under a clear blue sky, the group enjoyed a round that highlighted the area’s natural beauty. (See photo below for a snapshot of members on the course, clubs in hand and smiles all around.) It was a perfect way to network and unwind before diving into meetings.

Touring the Smiley Building
Post-golf, Jeff Pillus of SET Engineering hosted other partners and affiliates on a remarkable tour of the Smiley Building, a standout in Durango’s commercial landscape. The tour showcased innovative design elements and prime real estate opportunities, sparking discussions on potential collaborations and market trends. It was an inspiring highlight that underscored the vibrant development scene in the region. Not to mention a fun happy hour on the rooftop to see their solar panels and views of Durango!

Evening Grill-Out at Justin Osborn’s
Capping the day, Justin Osborn hosted an incredible grilled dinner at his home. Under the evening sky near a cozy fire pit and wooden pavilion (see photo), members enjoyed delicious food, drinks, and conversation. The setup—complete with string lights, a fire, and relaxed seating—fostered deeper connections and lively real estate talks.
