Collaboration Between RMCRE Brokers Leads to Successful Commercial Real Estate Opportunity in Salida, CO
One of the greatest benefits of working with an RMCRE Broker for commercial real estate deals is the strength of our network and expertise across the western slope of Colorado. The recent opening of Osake Steak and Sushi Bar in Salida is an excellent example of the collaborative work between our partners.
Kirk and Paula Coult, owners of Bankok Happy Bowl in Breckenridge, Aspen, and Kauai were long-time clients of Jack Wolfe, RMCRE Broker.
Years ago, Jack was driving home from an RMCRE Meeting in Snowmass that we hosted for DU with a great panel and group of sponsors. Jack got a call from the Coults saying that they saw his information and were interested in opening a restaurant in Breckenridge. Paula is from Thailand, and is the “real deal” as Jack describes her. Genuine, knowledgeable, authentic in nature with excellent standards for quality of food. Kirk is from California, a fun spirited surfer with a background in marketing and finance. They all hit it off easily as colleagues and friends, and Jack ended up helping them lease and build out their restaurant, Bangkok Happy Bowl on Main Street in Breckenridge.
Their relationship blossomed, and Jack Wolfe became their broker for multiple transactions in Breckenridge, including their Breckenridge home, and the build out of the Tiki Hutt, at the base of River Mountain Lodge (now Castaway Cove). They learned that Jack and his wife were building a home in Salida. After multiple visits, they also become intrigued by that area and the lower altitude and were interested in opening a new restaurant in Salida.
This is where the magic of this RMCRE group of brokers happens. Jack reached out to fellow RMCRE broker Jeff Post and owner of First Colorado Land Office in Salida and Buena Vista.
Jack knows that everyone goes to Jeff for commercial transactions in Chaffee County, and knew that his clients Kirk and Paula Coult would be in better hands with a local expert like Jeff. Jeff knows most of the owners and investors in Salida and was equipped to navigate through all the tricky issues that are inherent to leading through a win/win/win deal with buyers, sellers, and tenants. Jeff is very talented, says Wolfe, and has the creativity that is required in commercial real estate deals.
“Jeff is terrific. If I were leasing or buying commercial real estate in Salida or Buena Vista, I would not hesitate to call Jeff,” said Wolfe.
Jack says that Jeff took such great care of his clients and friends, and that they are working together on new real estate opportunities and transactions.
Jeff describes owners, Kirk and Paula Coult as big-hearted, terrific people who care deeply about their customers and clients. They are an asset to Chaffee County (and all their resort hometowns, of course), and the community is so grateful to embrace them, their food, and a new place to call home at Osake Steak & Sushi Bar. Stop by any one of their restaurants, and let them know you heard of them here!
