Delta County Market Update

City of Delta was awarded over $13 Million for Main Street Beautification program, geared to calming traffic down. Lots of controversy, upset commercial owners with parking being removed.

City of Delta is also buying a building with grant funds to run a “resting place” for the homeless. Also creating a lot of controversy and complaints.

Existing commercial properties did not experience huge increases in taxes this go round. Mesa County increased theirs by ±18.9% on certain existing commercial properties.
