Montrose Q2 2026 Market Update Report

Montrose market slowed considerably. Commercial sales were over 25% lower than last quarter, and Residential sales were almost down by 8%. I contribute much of this downfall to the Gold Mountain Fire in the area. This has had a major impact on Real Estate in the area. But the Sales taxes in all areas is up especially in restaurant and lodging compared to last year.
Overall market is in decline. Getting a lot of listing opportunities and seeing a lot of price reductions. But I feel that market will be very strong long term in this area.
