After a successful career as an attorney and top commercial real estate broker in downtown Washington, DC, William Small relocated to Denver and in two short years became the second highest grossing commercial broker in the Denver Commercial Board of Realtors. Shortly thereafter, William lived out his childhood dream of living in a ski resort by moving to Aspen.
During his time in Aspen, William has been an investor, developer and broker of commercial properties throughout Colorado and luxury residential properties in the Aspen Snowmass area. His clients run the gamut from the top retailer in Aspen, Kemo Sabe, to one of the largest retailers in the country representing Costco as their exclusive agent for their site selection and purchase of their site in Gypsum, Colorado.
William is an avid skier booking over 100-days on average on snow each year. He and his wife Lori are also avid travelers and during the off-season they travel extensively around the world. His wife Lori most recently reclaimed her Italian citizenship and is now a duel citizen of the US and Italy. Around Aspen and Snowmass, William focuses on working with commercial investors looking to acquire investment properties in Aspen and Snowmass. He has several listed investment properties currently for sale and a number of off-market properties available for purchase. Over the years, he’s been involved with the sales of some of Aspen’s most iconic properties from the Isis Theater to the Main Street Bakery. He also handles a number of luxury residential listings in the Aspen Snowmass market. He is also an active member of the Institute for Luxury Home Market and holds the coveted CLHMS (certified luxury home marketing specialist) designation.
